A 380-bed acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a Director of Surgical Services. The facility operates 13 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites, holds Level II Trauma designation, and performs approximately 30–35 surgical cases per day across a broad range of specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, general surgery, urology, GYN/GYN oncology, ENT, podiatry, pediatrics, and vascular.

The role. The Director of Surgical Services reports to the hospital COO and leads a team of three managers and approximately 120 FTEs. This leader is responsible for the overall operational and clinical performance of the surgical services department, including volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and budget monitoring. The Director drives evidence-based practice adoption to advance patient safety and quality outcomes, manages clinical practice variation to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and ensures ongoing compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. A key focus of this role is building and retaining high-performing teams through coaching, development, and talent management aligned with departmental and facility objectives.

What we're looking for.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
• Master's Degree Preferred
• Must have recent Surgical Services Director experience

Schedule. Full-time, Days (No Weekends).

Compensation. $157,705 - $197,163 per year plus 17.5% director bonus potential with 150% upside Relo Assistance Available
