Location: San Marcos, CA

Job Type: Full-Time / 6-month assignment 

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay: $21/hour

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant with experience in managing high-volume calls and performing high-volume data entry to work onsite for our well-respected client in San Marcos, CA . The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills , excellent phone and email etiquette , exceptional computer skills and the ability to enter data accurately and rapidly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails regarding customer orders, invoices, and payment inquiries .
• Support the team with processing samples, warranty requests and literature requests.
• Provide high-level customer service through professional and courteous communication (primarily over the phone and via email).

 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Customer Service Excellence: Strong ability to handle customer concerns professionally, especially in sensitive collection situations.
• Phone & Email Etiquette: Must be articulate, professional, and clear in communication.
• Computer Skills: Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Must be able to take orders over the phone and simultaneously enter them accurately in the system, work in shared spreadsheets and confidential data files.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Fast Paced: Capable of successfully working in a fact paced environment sometimes juggling multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and a high level of customer service. Strong data entry skills are essential.
