Construction Accountant

Previous experience with accounting in the construction business A+ Microsoft Office, Excel, Sage 300, QuickBooks, and some knowledge of HCSS. Accounting degree preferred.

Accounts Receivable/Billing

• Input and sending of monthly draws for all projects
• Preparation of draw related waivers, supplier lists and Statement of Accounts as required by Customer
• Rolling all Excel applications forward for next month's billing
• Setting up initial pay applications from HCSS import
• Addition of change orders to the spreadsheets

Time & Materials Invoicing

• Preparation of invoices based on receipt of T&M tickets, pricing sheet and any Subcontractor and Supplier bills related to the work

Job Cost Reports

• Review Job Cost Reports to ensure items are coded properly, costs are within the original estimates and that all change orders are booked
• Re-costing of estimates for change orders that were not already setup by an estimator
• Re-costing for all T&M invoices
• Forwarding of the updated Job Cost Report to Controller and Project Manager

Prepare Reports for Weekly Meetings

• Prepare updated Accounts Receivable report
