Director of TechnologyOur client is looking for a hands-on IT leader to take ownership of a growing, largely cloud-based technology environment. This is a role for someone who genuinely likes being in the mix day to day, not just directing from a distance. You'll oversee a small team, manage a wide range of systems, and have a direct line to the COO on where technology is headed next.Job Type: Direct Hire or Contract-to-HireLocation: San Gabriel Valley Area, CA (fully onsite with occasional travel)Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $155,000-$170,000No Visa Sponsorship Available for this roleWhat You'll Do:Administer and manage a predominantly Azure-based cloud environment, including CRM and student information systemsOversee Active Directory, a VOIP phone system, and organization-wide print and copier infrastructureManage centralized physical security systems, including alarms and camerasSupport a learning management system and other smaller technology platformsPartner with the COO and a team of 4 to keep IT operations running smoothly across a growing organizationWhat Gets You the Job:Hands-on experience administering a cloud-based environmentStrong working knowledge of Azure and Active DirectoryGeneral familiarity with servers, firewalls, and core IT infrastructureWell-rounded background across phone systems, general security, and day-to-day IT operationsComfortable working in a hands-on capacity while still contributing at a strategic level
