About The Team The Director, Shared Services Enablement leads the operational backbone of the enablement organization, orchestrating the people, programs, and processes that allow the enablement function to deliver at scale. This role leads a blended team across Learning Experience Design (LXD), Communications, and Program Success, while owning enablement planning and performance cadences and driving content readiness for major moments such as Sales Kickoff and Rising. The ideal leader is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, communicates with clarity, and brings rigor to team leadership, planning, and execution. About The Role Key Responsibilities Enablement Planning & Performance Cadence Own the operating rhythm that keeps the enablement organization aligned and accountable, including managing project intake, shaping the planning approach and cadences, and rolling up a prioritized organizational plan. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) — from narrative and preparation through results tracking and executive presentation. Connect inputs across the organization into a clear, forward-looking plan and a credible view of impact. Communications Leadership Lead the enablement communications team, partnering closely with Employee Communications to ensure alignment, consistency, and reach across the organization. Set the strategy and approach for enablement messaging — triaging the best channel, identifying the right stakeholders, gathering accurate inputs, sequencing communications, and ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time. Content Readiness for Strategic Activation Moments Lead enablement's contribution to flagship events, including Sales Kickoff and Rising. Partner with Experience Marketing — who owns the overall event — to ensure enablement content is scoped, developed, and delivered with quality and on time. Own the enablement workstream end to end, including content planning, stakeholder coordination, and readiness. Learning Experience Design (LXD) Leadership Manage the LXD function, set quality standards, prioritize the design backlog, and ensure on-time delivery of learning experiences. Apply working knowledge of learning design to guide the team toward instructionally sound, learner-centric outcomes. Program Success & Delivery Operations Manage the team responsible for the operational execution of enablement programs, including webinar scheduling and production support, coordination with Business Technology (BT), participant communications and learner support, purchase order (PO) management, and survey execution. About You Basic Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in GTM enablement or related operational experience within a B2B SaaS environment 3+ years managing operational teams with blended resources (e.g., Learning Experience Design, Program Managers, Communications, etc.). Demonstrated experience leading teams that include a mix of internal employees and external partners — setting clear expectations, developing talent, and holding the team accountable to quality and outcomes Other Qualifications Knowledge of learning design: understands instructional design principles, modalities, and the LXD process well enough to guide a design team toward strong learner outcomes, even without being the hands-on designer. Stakeholder management and cross-functional partnership: builds strong working relationships across functions (Employee Communications, Experience Marketing, BT, and field leadership) and earns trust as a reliable partner. Program and project management discipline: strong instincts for structure, timelines, dependencies, and risk, without becoming overly process-heavy. Business and learning analytics literacy: able to interpret program data and survey results to inform decisions and tell the story of enablement impact. Executive presence and storytelling: able to translate operational detail into a clear narrative for senior leaders, particularly in QBR and planning forums. Preferred: experience leading enablement, L&D, or shared services operations at a SaaS or enterprise technology company; familiarity with supporting large-scale events (SKO, customer conferences, or equivalent) from a content or enablement workstream perspective; experience designing and running planning and QBR cadences for cross-functional leadership audiences. Personal Attributes Strong communicator: crisp written and verbal communication, with the judgment to know when to draft, when to delegate, and when to facilitate alignment between others. Detail oriented: brings rigor to plans, trackers, communications, and deliverables, catching the small things that protect large outcomes. Operates in ambiguity: comfortable defining the problem, building the plan, and moving forward without a fully formed playbook; can structure work where none exists. Self-starter: identifies what needs to happen and drives it without waiting for direction, bringing energy and ownership to every workstream. Prioritization and decision-making: comfortable making trade-offs in a high-volume environment, balancing strategic priorities against incoming demand.
