The work will vary and encompass commercial, military or medical technology projects. Innovation and technical problem solving will be a major part of your position along with the ability to work productively with a diverse team of researchers. Experience developing both hardware and software for embedded systems is highly desired.QualificationsHands on experience prototyping hardware devicesFamiliarity with schematic / PCB CAD tools.Desired QualificationsExperience with embedded microcontrollers (Nucleo, Arduino, Raspberry PI, PIC)Experience using PCB design software (preferred Altium)Experience developing application software for Windows, Android, Linux and LabVIEW environments.Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, Tcl)Familiarity with common communications protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS-232)High degree of comfort working on early phase research projects.Signal processing experience for commercial, medical or military applications a plus.Education/Experience4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent; Advanced Degree a plus5-7 years of experience in hardware or software development.Due to the nature of our business and information associated with this position, interested candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Resident.Come join our success and grow with the strength of these fascinating new technologies.
