Lead Teacher

We are looking for passionate, motivated, energetic and responsible Lead Teachers to join our team! Responsibilities: Developing and leading classroom activities, lessons, and educational programs for preschool-aged children Ensuring the health, safety, and supervision of the children in the classroom Developing activities that are fun, engaging, and educational for young children Using units of study and monthly themes to create age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Instructing children on classroom rules, appropriate conduct, and new tasks Maintaining classroom records and student portfolios Effectively communicating with children and parents Maintaining a cooperative attitude while working with parents, teaching assistants, and program specialists Understanding and adapting to the individual needs of children and families Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2) is required New York State Teacher Certification is required At least 2 years of previous teaching experience at a licensed daycare or public school Familiarity with units of study and monthly themes Ability to develop fun and educational activities for young children Strong communication and active listening skills Patience and compassion when working with young children Must meet all New York State requirements for the position Job Type: Full-time 5 days a week Hours: 8:30am–6:0o Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education ( Required ) Certification: New York State Teacher Certification ( Required ) Experience: Early Childhood teaching: 2 years ( Required ) Early Childhood work: 2 years ( Required ) #J-18808-Ljbffr Tonghua Childcare
