Quick Facts Location: Kansas City, MO Start Date: Flexible End Date/Duration: Full-time ongoing Shift: In-house, 24/7 coverage Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years in neonatal intensive care Pay & Benefits Pay Package: Competitive salary based on experience and training (details discussed at interview) Additional Compensation: Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), HSA options 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan Some benefits offered at no cost Work Environment: Emphasis on work-life balance and employee well-being What You’ll Do Provide in-house neonatal critical care at a Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds Manage critically ill neonates utilizing therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency ventilation, and therapeutic hypothermia Support infants as young as 22 weeks gestation, including ELGANs, with complex care needs Collaborate with a team of board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners Oversee or support care at additional units, including a Level-IIIA NICU and well-baby care Participate in regional neonatal delivery and care coordination Engage in quality improvement initiatives and pursue individual clinical or academic interests Support telehealth-based out-of-house coverage, ensuring continuous patient care What You Need Required: Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology (BC/BE) Missouri Medical License or eligibility Certifications in neonatal care procedures (if required) Preferred: Prior experience in a Level-IIIB NICU preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Commitment to quality neonatal care About the Assignment Join a top-tier healthcare facility in Kansas City dedicated to excellence in neonatal medicine.
