Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments to determine the developmental needs and progress of children with disabilities or delays.

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring that these plans are tailored to the specific needs of each child.

• Monitor the outcomes of interventions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, consistently updating treatment goals based on individual progress.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them to navigate resources and strategies that benefit their child’s and family’s development.
\n
• Comply with all Federal and State regulations pertaining to clinical social work practice, documentation, and confidentiality.
\n
• Utilize virtual platforms effectively to maintain rapport with children, families, and team members, thereby promoting a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on young children, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays, and their families. You will engage directly with children in their formative years and work diligently to support their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. You will play a pivotal role in helping families understand and support their child's developmental journey, making this position particularly rewarding.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Doctorate of Social Work.

• Active LCSW license with the Department of Public Health in California.
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience working directly with young children in an early intervention setting.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for in-person visits or assessments.

• Knowledge of various learning styles and the ability to adapt treatment methods to meet these different needs.

• Commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, ensuring that all interventions are family-centered and context-specific.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
