The Psychological Well-being Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time, remote position. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions that include both couples concurrently and individuals separately to explore relational dynamics.
\n
• Addressing various issues including, but not limited to, alcohol and substance abuse, grief, conflicts among family members, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies to support clients in navigating their challenges.
\n
• Documenting client progress accurately and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and professional development.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention when necessary to ensure client safety and immediate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse clientele, including adults and children/adolescents, spanning various cultural backgrounds. You will work with clients addressing issues such as family conflicts, adjustments related to separation and divorce, and blended family dynamics. Empowering clients through therapeutic techniques will help them achieve their personal growth and relational stability.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Psychological Well-being Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
