Location: Columbia, MD

Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite)

Position Type: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Full-Time Conversion

Pay: $40- $50 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruiter to join our team in Columbia, MD. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a permanent full-time position. Working in a hybrid environment, the Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers, and identifying top talent for a variety of positions.

This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about connecting candidates with career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Present qualified candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
• Negotiate offers and support candidates throughout the onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through hire.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and team members.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
