Exciting Nursing Opportunity in Pediatric Care!

Job Description:


- Shift: NOC (19:00 - 07:30)
- 3 × 12 hr shifts × 36 hrs/week
- 12 hrs per shift

Key Highlights:


- Recommended COVID-19 vaccination, required Flu vaccination (October through April)
- Flu exemption applications must be submitted and approved prior to starting
- Masking required for those unvaccinated during the full respiratory virus season
- Potential floating between all campuses:
- Main: 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016
- Arrowhead: 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308
- Avondale: 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ 85392
- East Valley: 3370 S Mercy Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297
- Assignment requires floating to PICU and CVICU only
- RTO discussed in the interview will be pre-approved

Responsibilities:


- Collaborate with healthcare team, patients, and families to promote health
- Deliver professional nursing care tailored to patients' age and condition
- Adhere to nursing and medical plans of care based on evidence-based practices
- Meet hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards

Experience Requirements:


- Minimum 2 years as an RN in NICU
- Experience in PICU and CVICU
- Preferred experience at a Level III or IV NICU
- Children's hospital experience is preferred

Education and Certification Requirements:


- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current State of Arizona RN license, compact state RN license, or ability to establish licensure in Arizona
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association)
- Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current Advanced NRP certification
