Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Experienced PICU RN!


- Join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to promoting patient health through exceptional nursing care!
- Work 3 × 12-hour shifts with a total of 36 hours per week during the AM shift (07:00 - 19:30).
- This role may require floating between four campuses, offering variety in your work environment.
- Locations include:
- Main Campus in Phoenix, AZ
- Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ
- Avondale Campus in Avondale, AZ
- East Valley Campus in Gilbert, AZ
- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to deliver professional nursing care.
- Manage patient care according to nursing and medical plans in line with evidence-based practices.
- Float to NICU and CVICU as needed, requiring adaptability and versatility.
- Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in PICU.
- Experience in a Level III or IV NICU is strongly preferred.
- Experience floating to CVICU and NICU.
- Children's hospital experience is a big plus!
- Educational Background:
- Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year (BSN) degree, or Diploma Nursing degree required.
- Certifications & Licenses:
- Current State of Arizona RN license or multistate privileges.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Additional Notes:
- COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required.
- Flu vaccination required from October through April; exemptions must be approved prior to starting.
- All staff must adhere to masking protocols if unvaccinated for respiratory viruses.
