Registered Nurse - PICU

$2545.92/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care across multiple hospital locations. Collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families to promote optimal health outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients across various units, including CVICU, NICU, and PICU. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with clinical standards. Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and interpret clinical data to ensure patient safety and comfort. Educate and support patients’ families, providing clear communication regarding care plans and hospital procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices. Float between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to different clinical environments. Qualifications: Hold a valid Arizona RN license or multistate license with the ability to establish licensure in Arizona before start. Possess a minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience. Preferably have Level III or IV NICU hospital experience and children’s hospital experience. Maintain current BLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
