Research Coordinator-ILPQC

Hourly Pay Range $24.86 - $37.29 (determined by expertise and years of experience). Position Summary This role serves as a Project Coordinator for the Illinois Perinatal Quality Collaborative (ILPQC), coordinating meetings, webinars, notes, task management, hospital quality improvement support and data management for quality improvement initiatives, supporting participating Illinois birthing hospitals in setting up systems and facilitating culture change to improve outcomes for women and newborns. Responsibilities Content creation for regular webinars, including obstetric and neonatal community advisory board meetings and statewide webinars. Assist in event planning for twice‑annual in‑person collaborative learning opportunities, including communications and support of website/social media. Coordinate ILPQC data collection, analysis, and reporting for statewide quality improvement initiatives. Provide quality improvement support through individual calls, small group meetings, regional meetings, and other formats. Participate in financial coordination, including monitoring budgets, submitting expenses, processing invoices, and related tasks. Assist with grant writing, monitoring grant timelines, producing grant reports to funding organizations, and abstract and paper preparation for publication. Travel approximately once per month to quarterly to hospitals, community, and stakeholder locations throughout Illinois; potential national travel for collaborative meetings. Qualifications Education: BS in public health, nursing, social work, social or health science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 3 years of research or related experience. Minimum 2 years of research experience. Spanish speaking preferred; Spanish fluency strongly preferred. Experience facilitating recruitment and follow‑up strategies with clinic personnel and operational problem solving. Experience with data management systems and software such as REDCap, SPSS, Ripple. Excellent organization, time management, problem‑solving, and communication (written and verbal) skills. Ability to interact professionally and sensitively with medical personnel, research subjects, collaborators, community groups, and research staff. Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision, and showing initiative. Experience working with children aged 15 months to 6 years. Benefits Incentive pay for select positions.
