Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the operating room with experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho surgical procedures due to the trauma status of the facility.
• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and maintained.
• Adhere to established surgical techniques and protocols, maintaining sterile fields.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure efficient room turnover.
• Respond to and manage emergency situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including night, evening, and weekend shifts, as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience.
• Experience in trauma level I surgical settings is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to float between like units and possibly cover night shift as needed.
