Job Opportunity – Float Pool Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend (average 6 weekends per contract). Float position across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units. Patient ratios of 1:4-5 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MS/Tele. Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract. No call required.

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
• 24-hour orientation with specialty-specific modules to ensure competency and confidence
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment period with balanced expectations

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 in MS/Tele and 1:4-5 in PCU settings
• Flexibility to float between units and adapt to varying patient acuity levels
• Strong clinical skills including cardiac telemetry, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, and drip management
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to meet bi-weekly orientation schedule
