Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C-corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary returns
• Review and signing of individual, business, and fiduciary returns.
• Providing clients with tax related projections and consulting as needed, along with general planning. Working as a part of a team to solve problems, do research, and complete projects.
• Review U.S. and state individual income and gift tax returns.
• Prepare tax projections for individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct tax research and reviews as needed
• Communicate with existing clients and colleagues regarding various tax matters.
• Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by clients
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and apply new technologies in the work place.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and contribute to team growth and development

• 5+ years of relevant tax experience preferred CPA or EA preferred
• Trust and Estate Experience
• Experience in handling individual, corporate, and partnership clients.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team
• Advanced computer skills on Microsoft platforms
• Ultra Tax is highly preferred but not required
• Proficient with QuickBooks and/or other trial balance software is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple client projects in a fast-paced environment
