We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations in Los Angeles, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a steady flow of accounting transactions. The person in this role will help keep financial records accurate, assist with payment and billing activities, and contribute to timely month-end close support.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process incoming invoices to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and timely payment handling.

• Enter financial information into accounting records with a high level of accuracy and consistency.

• Support accounts payable activities by verifying invoice details, matching records, and following up on outstanding items.

• Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including tracking customer payments and updating account information.

• Experience supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes in an accounting or finance environment.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence working within computerized accounting systems.
• Strong data entry skills with careful attention to accuracy and detail.
• Hands-on experience processing invoices and maintaining complete financial documentation.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and identify inconsistencies in transactional records.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and routine priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external contacts.
