Regional Director of Sales And Marketing

A growing senior living organization is seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Director of Sales to elevate sales performance and drive occupancy growth across a portfolio of Assisted Living and Memory Care communities throughout Illinois. This highly visible leadership role will develop community sales teams, implement regional sales strategies, and partner closely with operational leaders to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on coach, strategic thinker, and relationship builder with a demonstrated ability to turn market insights and sales data into measurable results. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support community-based sales and marketing professionals across multiple locations. Develop and execute regional sales strategies that drive occupancy, lead conversion, and revenue growth. Analyze sales metrics, market conditions, and competitive data to identify opportunities and improve performance. Partner with Executive Directors and operational leaders to create targeted action plans for each community. Conduct regular community visits to evaluate performance, coach team members, and reinforce sales best practices. Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of sales professionals. Strengthen lead generation, referral development, follow-up, conversion, and resident move-in processes. Build relationships with healthcare providers, professional referral sources, and community partners. Ensure effective CRM utilization, accurate reporting, and consistent execution of company sales processes. Lead regional sales meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. At least five years of sales leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or another service-focused industry. Senior living sales experience, particularly within Assisted Living or Memory Care, strongly preferred. Multi-site or regional sales leadership experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success increasing occupancy, improving conversion rates, and exceeding sales goals. Strong coaching, communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills. Ability to interpret performance data and develop practical strategies that improve results. Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
