Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities, to facilitate recovery effectively.
• Document patient assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes meticulously to ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Regularly re-evaluate patients to assess treatment effectiveness, adjust goals, and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Advise and train patients, their families, and caregivers on rehabilitation strategies and the use of assistive devices when necessary.
• Provide pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, coordinating closely with physicians to optimize surgical outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and conferences, to stay updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will predominantly include adult patients recovering from orthopedic issues, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You may also treat pediatric patients for various musculoskeletal challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
