Work Environment

The role is based in our outpatient office, where you will work from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and needs.
• Manage a standardized patient load to ensure that each individual receives focused and attentive care.
• Deliver expert orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing your experience and clinical knowledge to guide treatment decisions.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic methodologies that enhance patients' mobility and functional performance.
• Prioritize non-surgical interventions to reduce the need for medication and promote holistic care.
• Design comprehensive and progressive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness programming tailored to each patient's condition and goals.
• Engage in motivational practices to inspire patients, helping them stay committed throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment progress, modifying plans as necessary based on patient feedback and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all treatment services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Baystate Therapeutics, you will work primarily with patients recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse patient demographic requires that you be adept in treating a wide range of conditions and tailoring your approach to meet the needs of varying age groups and activity levels. This role is critical in assisting our patients in returning to their desired lifestyle and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in Virginia, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Experienced in developing and implementing effective exercise programs based on scientific principles.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in sports medicine.
• Expertise in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary package between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits program.
