Engineering Manager, Advanced Operations (Hybrid)

Stryker seeks an Engineering Manager to lead technical teams and oversee complex medical device development programs. This hybrid role in Puerto Rico combines people management, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop engineering teams; manage performance and talent development planning
- Direct complex engineering projects managing scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
- Drive design validation, testing, integration, and process validation for new products
- Manage project and team finances including budgeting and resource planning
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality requirements for medical device projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in engineering
- Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proven ability to deliver projects against defined timelines, quality, and budgets
- Experience with product design, testing, or process validation preferred
- Medical device industry or automation process experience preferred
Compensation: $102,600 - $171,000 USD annual
