Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and understand their unique challenges, using evidence-based methodologies. \n Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families, employing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and systemic therapy. \n Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage camaraderie among participants, fostering a supportive community while addressing common issues like anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. \n Maintain accurate and thorough client records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for streamlined data management. \n Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate holistic care for clients. \n Provide crisis intervention support, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring clients receive immediate, appropriate care. \n Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest practices and research in mental health. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The primary clientele includes individuals and families coping with a range of challenges, such as marital discord, parenting issues, trauma recovery, and mental health disorders. Your expertise in navigating these complex situations will help foster resilience and promote healthier family dynamics. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (or a closely related field) is required. \n Current licensure as a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential. \n Proven ability to document clinical evaluations and treatment plans with clarity and precision. \n Solid understanding of LMFT ethical guidelines and scope of practice. \n Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. \n Preferred Experience\n \n A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, specifically dealing with family dynamics and relationship counseling. \n Experience with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems. \n Background in leading group therapy sessions and workshops. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The annual salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
