Human Resources Director

Description We’re growing! Isaacs & Isaacs Law Firm is expanding its Human Resources department and is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead people operations, HR strategy, compliance, employee relations, and talent initiatives for a growing law firm. This is an exciting in-office leadership opportunity based in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership while helping develop, implement, and manage Human Resources programs that support the firm’s greatest asset: its employees. The Human Resources Director will play a key role in building scalable HR infrastructure, supporting firmwide growth, strengthening employee engagement, and ensuring consistency across multiple offices and states. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership Serve as a strategic partner to firm leadership on all people-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, employee engagement, and firm culture. Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the firm’s growth plans, including expansion into new states and offices. Advise executive leadership, the CEO, and practice group leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational issues, and workforce planning. Own and maintain the employee handbook, HR policies, and procedures firmwide, ensuring consistency across offices and states. Develop and manage annual HR department budgets and perform periodic cost, staffing, and productivity analysis. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Oversee recruiting and hiring strategy for staff, administrative, and business professional roles firmwide. Partner with practice group leaders on attorney and associate attorney hiring logistics. Develop and refine onboarding programs to support strong new hire integration, engagement, and retention. Recommend and maintain organizational structure and staffing levels to support company goals and growth objectives. Employee Relations & Performance Management Lead performance management processes, including annual review cycles, goal-setting, coaching, and development planning. Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns with sound judgment and discretion. Foster #J-18808-Ljbffr
