The candidate will assist teachers by running small groups, supporting students in both Special Day Class settings or General Education, and providing classroom support as required. Qualifications: List on application experience that is relevant to this position. Instructional Assistant II's mild/moderate work with students served in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Example of typical duties include running small groups, assisting students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education and supporting the teacher's needs. Candidates may have any combination of experience and training that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties. In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license is required.
