Assistant Professor, College of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, in partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, is seeking faculty anesthesiologists for clinical service utilizing an anesthesia care team model, teaching of medical students, residents, fellows and allied health professionals, and clinical research.

The Department has very active chronic pain, critical care, inpatient pain and pre-operative care services at multiple locations within the health system and is an ideal place for faculty to establish themselves in their career path. UC Anesthesiologists provide comprehensive care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Essential Functions:
- Provide direct patient care.
- Teach and train UC medical students and UC Medical Center residents and fellows, UC nurse anesthesia program students, anesthesiology assistant students, and UC Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Provide research oversight.
Minimum Requirements:
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Completion of four-year anesthesiology residency
- Ohio medical license
