Junior Accountant

This position will support day-to-day accounts payable operations while assisting with purchase order processing, account reconciliations, month-end close, employee expenses, and other general accounting activities. Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the cleanup of outstanding and aged accounts payable and purchase order items.
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and accurate posting.
- Prepare and process weekly vendor payment runs and resolve payment exceptions.
- Process purchase orders and perform invoice-to-PO matching.
- Research and resolve invoice, vendor, payment, and purchase order discrepancies.
- Prepare assigned balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support month-end close activities and assist with clearing outstanding reconciling items.
- Respond to vendor and employee questions regarding invoices, payments, reimbursements, and expenses.
- Review and process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
- Assist with payroll accounting activities, including payroll-related journal entries and account activity.
