The Jake Davis State Farm Agency is seeking a Customer Retention Specialist who can deliver excellent service while also helping strengthen and grow relationships within our existing book of business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers, solving problems, and maintaining long-term relationships, while also feeling comfortable identifying coverage needs and introducing additional products when appropriate. You’ll work closely with current customers on renewals, policy changes, account questions, and service needs while helping ensure they have the right protection in place. Success in this role requires a strong service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently transition into needs-based sales conversations. Your Day-to-Day Communicate with existing customers about renewals, coverage questions, and policy updates Assist with billing, claims-related questions, policy changes, and general service needs Conduct proactive account reviews and help keep customer information and coverage current Identify potential gaps in coverage and additional insurance needs Recommend appropriate products through customer-focused conversations Work toward established monthly in-book sales goals Support customer retention through consistent follow-up and relationship building Maintain accurate records of conversations, service activity, and follow-up Collaborate with agency team members to meet service, retention, and growth objectives What Makes Someone a Good Fit Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Confidence transitioning service conversations into sales opportunities when appropriate Comfortable working toward monthly sales and retention goals Strong problem-solving ability and follow-through Detail-oriented and focused on delivering a positive customer experience Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment Prior experience in customer service, account management, or insurance is preferred Licensing Requirements Insurance licensing is required for this position. Property & Casualty: Must be obtained prior to Day 1 Life & Health: Must be obtained within 30 days of starting Licensing guidance and support will be provided to help qualified candidates complete the process.
