Step into a rewarding role where your guidance helps shape the educational experience of K-8th grade students at a vibrant charter school near Eden Prairie, MN. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and students, supporting individualized learning in a nurturing environment. The assignment runs from August 31, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Your contribution will ensure students receive the support they need to thrive, fostering both their academic and social development. As a valued member of the classroom team, you'll have a direct and meaningful impact every day.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Experience as a school-based Paraprofessional or relevant role
- Required certifications or credentials as determined by local and state regulations
- Ability to connect with and support K-8th grade students across varied needs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering individualized and group instruction
- Provide direct support to students in academic and behavioral growth
- Implement classroom strategies and adaptations as directed by certificated staff
- Encourage student independence while offering guidance as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with school staff to promote student success in a charter school setting
