In these positions, you'll:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction in alignment with state and district standards
• Create and implement effective lesson plans, utilizing formative assessment to drive continuous improvement
• Manage diverse classrooms with confidence, demonstrating robust classroom and behavior management skills
• Maintain regular communication with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress
• Utilize resource materials to support student growth and adapt strategies for unique learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to enrich curriculum and uphold an inclusive, supportive educational environment
• Remain compliant with all requirements for documentation, reporting, and professional conduct

Preferred qualifications:

• Holds active Pennsylvania certification/licensure appropriate for special education caseload
• Possesses bachelor’s degree required for an emergency teaching permit
• Brings prior school-based experience, ideally in urban settings
• Demonstrates mastery of special education best practices and instructional skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite between 8:30AM–4PM
• Ability to complete all PA clearances seamlessly
• Comfortable engaging in virtual interviews via Zoom
