Step into an impactful full-time opportunity designed for passionate Special Education professionals ready to inspire growth and positive change in students’ lives. We are seeking dedicated educators to fill four contract roles across middle and high school settings, with a commitment starting August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 10, 2027. Enjoy onsite collaboration in a supportive environment near Upper Darby, PA.
Openings include:
- One Middle School position (8:30AM–4PM or 8AM–3:15PM, final schedule TBD)
- Three High School positions (7:15AM–2:45PM), with specialty concentrations in Science, Math, and Social Studies
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of all Pennsylvania clearances
- Active certification/licensure to support assigned caseload
- Bachelor’s degree (requirement for emergency teaching permit)
- Previous experience working in school environments, preferably urban settings
- Strong classroom and behavior management abilities
- Skillful at curriculum planning and adapting lessons to meet diverse learner needs
- Proficiency in instructional strategies and familiarity with state/district standards
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
- Comfortable with the culture and expectations of the district; able to adhere to assigned schedule without accommodations
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans that reflect current standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Utilize formative assessments to guide instruction and track student progress
- Collaborate closely with staff, students, and families to support individualized student growth
You will immerse yourself in a purposeful contract role—teaching, supporting, and advocating for the next generation of learners. A virtual interview will be conducted via Zoom.
