Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs to create effective and personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based individual therapy sessions tailored to the unique requirements of each client, facilitating personal growth and mental health improvement.

• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and monitor their progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to support their journey.

• Provide teletherapy options to adhere to client preferences and needs, ensuring accessibility to support for those who may face challenges attending in-person sessions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, in line with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical expertise, staying updated on emerging therapies and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Delta Area Counseling Center, you will primarily serve individuals and families facing a variety of challenges including, but not limited to, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and family conflict. Our diverse clientele reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Pembroke Pines, allowing for a unique therapeutic experience that addresses the varied backgrounds and needs of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy.
\n
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients, fostering a safe environment for them to share their experiences.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and engage in administrative responsibilities proficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a diverse population, especially in areas such as trauma, family therapy, or solution-focused therapy.

• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation systems to facilitate seamless virtual therapy sessions.

• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 83,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continuing education.
