A growing manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support its finance team. This is a remote, direct-hire position with salary starting at $50k per year DOE.

The primary focus of this role is cash application processing, researching payment discrepancies, and communicating with customers to obtain missing remittance information. Training will be provided on company systems and processes.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Remote first year and possibly go onsite starting the second year.
• Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Flexible start times available
• Option for a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break
• Business casual work environment

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve and review daily banking activity through online banking portals
• Apply customer payments accurately using remittance information
• Research unapplied cash and payment discrepancies
• Contact customers to obtain missing or unclear remittance details
• Communicate with customers regarding payment information to ensure accurate account posting
• Navigate customer portals and financial systems to support cash application activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of payment activity

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, Billing, or Collections experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems is helpful; training will be provided

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $52,000.00 per year
