Key Responsibilities\n

  Provide individualized therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and young adults, focusing on their unique mental health needs.

  Conduct regular sessions with clients and their families to monitor progress, provide ongoing counseling, and adjust treatment strategies in response to shifting needs.

  Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team of psychologists, licensed mental health counselors, and licensed clinical social workers to refine collective treatment approaches.

  Engage with Emora Health’s leadership team to enhance clinical practices, aiming to provide the most effective and personalized care for each family.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with diverse patient demographics, including children, teenagers, and young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our approach centers on family involvement, equipping caregivers with the tools and strategies necessary to support their loved ones effectively.

Qualifications\n

  Active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Maryland.

  A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.

\n
• \n

  At least two years of experience in psychotherapy or counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in providing unsupervised mental health treatment.

  Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support, to be obtained within 30 days of starting your role.

Preferred Experience\n

  Prior experience working in a telehealth environment or with diverse populations is an advantage.

  Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and interventions, such as EMDR and DBT.
