Daily tasking includes supporting weekly status meetings with GDMS (techincal, contracts, and programmatics), working closely with the GDMS SPM and PM as well as coordiantion with the SCA. Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.Basic QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Supply chain / procurement experience as a subcontract manager, subcontract program manager, or buyerExperience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Experience working on with a subcontract management teamExperience with supplier negotiationsExperience solving complex problemsExperience working independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skillsMicrosoft Office Suite proficiencyAbility to travel to support ensure supplier performanceMust be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearanceDesired SkillsDesired Skills:Active Secret security clearanceExcellent business acumen and ability to make business-based decisionsStrong work ethics, good communication and follow up skill, and negotiation skills.Ability to organize tasks and prioritize assignmentsEffective time management skillsProblem solving / critical thinking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressureAbility to work with all levels of managementAbility to be flexible and embrace changeSelf-motivated and takes initiativeExperienced in CAM dutiesDemonstrated ability to build relationships with program and technical communityProject Management experiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
