Digital Marketing & Content Specialist

Location: Remote - Eastern or Central Time Zone

Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to support a large, multi-site digital environment. This position is designed for an experienced digital marketer who enjoys executing the work directly-managing website content, improving organic search performance, supporting paid media campaigns, and using analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate has experience working within a large enterprise organization, multi-brand environment, or digital agency where they have simultaneously supported multiple websites, campaigns, stakeholders, and priorities.

Must-Have Requirements - in priority order

• 4+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience , preferably supporting a large enterprise, digital agency, multi-brand organization, or similarly complex environment.
• Enterprise multi-site CMS experience: Candidate should have direct, hands-on responsibility for managing approximately 5-10 active websites simultaneously . Experience personally publishing, updating, reviewing, and maintaining content-not simply overseeing others doing the work.
• Enterprise CMS platform experience: Strong experience with Umbraco, Kentico, Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely, or a comparable enterprise CMS . Candidates whose CMS experience is primarily WordPress are unlikely to fit .
• Hands-on SEO execution: Must personally perform keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, content optimization, SEO auditing, and ongoing organic search improvements. We are looking for a practitioner who understands SEO fundamentals and doesn't depend primarily on plugins .
• Hands-on experience with SEMrush and Screaming Frog .
• Hands-on paid media: Direct experience working in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads , including campaign execution, budgets, optimization, and performance reporting. Approximately $10K/month in spend is preferred .
• Execution-oriented background: Role is approximately 75% hands-on execution / 25% strategy , with a preference for candidates who enjoy being directly involved in the work while collaborating with vendors, agencies, and other team members as needed Analytics + dashboard creation: Hands-on GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio experience. Looking for someone capable of building dashboards/reports from scratch , interpreting performance data and translating it into recommendations. Not simply reviewing reports someone else created.
• Ability to independently juggle multiple websites, campaigns, SEO initiatives, reporting requirements, and stakeholders with minimal supervision

You'll be successful if you're self-directed, analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and able to identify an issue, recommend a solution, and then help implement it.
