Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the physical abilities and needs of pediatric patients with various conditions, including neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic injuries, and developmental delays.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence.
• Implement engaging therapy sessions using innovative play-based activities designed to captivate children while meeting therapeutic objectives.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using our advanced electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accurate reporting and communication among the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide education on appropriate home exercises and modifications to facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children from infancy through adolescence who may have varying degrees of physical challenges. Patients may include those with conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, sports injuries, and genetic disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Must possess a current license or be license-eligible to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
