As the first face families see, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate experience from check-in through check-out. You'll help keep patient flow moving while supporting providers, clinical staff, and families in a high-energy pediatric urgent care setting.

We're looking for Medical Receptionists who thrive in fast-paced environments, stay organized under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping children and their families.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and check in pediatric patients and their families
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect required documentation
• Schedule appointments and manage patient registrations
• Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
• Coordinate patient flow between the front desk and clinical team
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and electronic medical records
• Obtain required authorizations and complete registration paperwork
• Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive experience for every family

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of medical receptionist experience preferred
• Pediatric or urgent care experience strongly preferred
• Experience verifying insurance and collecting patient payments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Experience with EMR systems required (athenaOne experience a plus)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset

Compensation Offered:

Hourly - Hourly Plan, 22.00 USD Hourly

The salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
