Employment Litigation Associate
Tampa, FL | Hybrid
A growing litigation firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Tampa team. Great opportunity for an attorney looking for meaningful litigation experience, direct client contact, and long-term growth.
Requirements
- Florida Bar required
- 1–5 years of Labor & Employment litigation experience
- Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling matters through discovery, motion practice, and resolution
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and litigation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
Responsibilities
- Handle Labor & Employment matters in state and federal court
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
- Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Represent clients before agencies including the EEOC
- Provide case evaluations, exposure assessments, and employment counseling
