Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients based on their unique needs and goals, ensuring personalized treatment plans that prioritize effective recovery.
• Manage a caseload of patients efficiently, allowing for meaningful interactions and ensuring that each individual receives the attention and care they deserve.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes, employing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as suited to each patient's condition.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation programs that address physical impairments and promote optimal functionality.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for continued health and self-management after therapy, impacting their long-term wellbeing.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, using EMR software such as Web PT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, sharing insights and recommendations for patient treatment when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals aging from children to seniors, all seeking rehabilitation services for various musculoskeletal and neurological issues. Our patient population includes athletes returning from injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals seeking relief from chronic pain. This role requires sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by each patient and a commitment to their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, in good standing without sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic outpatient care and proficiency in multiple manual therapy modalities.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs based on patient assessments.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient record-keeping and documentation.
• A deep understanding of current evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques that foster enhanced patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly within a rehabilitation or sports medicine framework, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in treating a variety of patient conditions, including injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management.
• Experience with alternative treatment approaches and an understanding of non-surgical intervention options.

Compensation and Benefits
