Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights rotating or Nights only); shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on department needs; variable weekend coverage; 72-hour orientation

Highlights:

• Specialized oncology unit treating adult and geriatric patients with endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers
• Provide chemotherapy administration, brachytherapy, clinical trial support, and neobladder care
• Telemetry monitoring with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Staffing ratios target 1:4 to 1:5 patient load; 36-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, pharmacy, and respiratory services
• EPIC charting system utilized for comprehensive documentation
• Float opportunities to other medical-surgical oncology units; one pre-approved time-off request available

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of current, acute care Med-Surg/Telemetry experience within the last 12 months
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required
• Experience with chemotherapy administration, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Must provide 2 professional references: at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership; Charge RN acceptable for second reference (no coworker references accepted)
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
