Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with strong attention to detail who wants to build experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments. Perform monthly bank and general ledger account reconciliations. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation. Prepare and analyze financial reports and account schedules. Review transactions for accuracy and investigate discrepancies. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities. Perform account and expense variance analysis. Assist with fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditure accounting. Support internal and external audit requests. Maintain compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP . Assist with internal control procedures and documentation. Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed. Work with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues. Participate in process improvements and accounting-related projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 0–2 years of accounting experience preferred. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organization.
