Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support onsite production operations in Prairieville, LA. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers daytime hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an initial 13-week assignment plus potential extension or direct hire.

Location:

• Prairieville, Louisiana (onsite)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy production tasks in a specialty pharmacy setting
• Provide medication therapy management (MTM) services
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with managed care pharmacy practices
• Collaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Louisiana pharmacist license required
• Additional licensure in one or more of the following states with reciprocity willingness to obtain Louisiana licensure: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming
• Previous retail or specialty pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Knowledge and experience in medication therapy management and managed care pharmacy
