Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid OT license in Alabama
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and a passion for supporting students’ growth
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Conduct thorough OT evaluations and ongoing assessments
• Design and carry out individualized interventions that promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and create effective learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and document session notes and progress reports
• Serve as a resource for educational staff on strategies and accommodations
