This is an exempt position.
This position is part-time. It is Saturday - Sunday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
The following listing of assignments, tasks and activities is not intended to be all inclusive, but is intended to reflect a level of performance.
- Insure the safety and security of all residents, visitors and staff.
- Monitor and maintain sign-in/-out log, and, ensures that all guests and visitors sign-in and sign-out of the building.
- Respond to all resident emergencies when case management staff is not on-duty.
- Summon the police department and/or fire department in case of emergency and when appropriate.
- Summon local emergency unit when appropriate.
- Intervene with residents in conflict situations as defined by the organization and the program director.
- May conduct fire drills and other evacuation drills.
- May never leave the front desk unoccupied
- Insure that tenant and program property is safe and secure.
- Provide the program director with written and verbal reports as required.
- Perform related duties as requested by the program director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and completion of State required courses
- Prior experience as a security officer is helpful
- Security Personnel must continue to maintain State requirements.
