EisnerAmper is seeking a Sales Tax Senior Consulting Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper: You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work What Work You Will be Responsible For: Managing the sales tax compliance process for clients sales tax returns Sales tax research projects Managing information and people related to sales tax compliance Interacting with clients and managing staff Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues Managing registrations and business licenses for clients Basic Qualifications 10+ years experience with sales tax compliance Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field CPA, JD, CMI, PHD, or Enrolled Agent Preferred/Desired Qualifications: CMI (sales tax) designation a plus Excellent communication and organization skills Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificate management, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries and use tax issue.
