Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Alternating 36/48-Hour Weekly Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with primary support to Med Surg as needed
• Float between units as required to meet facility staffing needs
• Work weekends as needed, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Complete orientation modules during scheduled orientation period (average 2–3 hours, non-billable if completed within the first 16 hours)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — license must be in hand prior to start
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• SSN and RTO required with submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Must agree to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly); straight 48 hours/week may be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling, including block scheduling requests (set schedules cannot be approved)
