BayCare is currently in search of our newest Scheduler who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

Position Details:

Location: Bay Area Gl Endo and Liver Specialists
Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Weekend Work: None

The Scheduler is responsible for:

Scheduling procedures and appointments accurately and efficiently
Collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information
Providing detailed preparation instructions for clinical exams
Documenting patient responses to clinical questions
Communicating scheduling updates with physician offices and hospital teams
Supporting authorization and payer guideline adherence
Performing clerical duties including answering phones and data entry
Assisting with workflow coordination and patient inquiries
Traveling between BayCare locations as needed
Performing other duties as assigned

Required Education:

High School or Equivalent

Experience:

One (1) year of experience in one of the following:

Business-related field
Healthcare setting
Customer service
