Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data and statements. Establish and maintain strong financial controls, including expense management and internal accounting procedures. Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, sub ledgers, and balance sheet accounts. Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper documentation of accounting policies and procedures. Support payroll processes, including time reporting, account reconciliation, and internal controls. Manage billing, collections, and credit functions to ensure operational efficiency. Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly financial and operational performance metrics. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements. Experience with ERP systems required; familiarity with Global Shop Solutions is a plus. Background in manufacturing, R&D, and product development strongly preferred. Cost accounting and government contracting experience, including work with DCAA/DCMA auditors, is a plus. Demonstrated leadership, sound business judgment, and analytical thinking. Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Executive presence with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. High integrity, strong work ethic, creativity, and the ability to make timely, difficult decisions.
